Donald Erdman

Dr. Donald L. Erdman is a research staff member of the Polymer Matrix Composites and Mechanical Properties and Mechanics groups, Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received his Ph. D. in the Engineering Science and Mechanics Department at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in December 1995. His expertise is in mechanical properties and mechanics. His research interests include high strain rate material testing, fatigue, fracture mechanics, crack growth rate and other damage mechanisms.

Yanli Wang

Dr. Yanli Wang received her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering department at the University of Florida in December 2006. After graduation, she became a Post-doctoral research fellow in the Oak Ridge national Laboratory. Her research interests are in the advanced material microstructure and mechanical characterizations. Her most recent research involves high strain rate mechanical testing of light weight metals and development of high speed 3D Digital Imaging System. [more]
